RICHMOND, Ky. – Zhansaya Bakytzhan earned her first career collegiate singles win from the No. 4 court in a three-set thriller, 3-6, 6-2, 6-1, as the Eastern Kentucky University women's tennis team (2-3, 0-0 ASUN) dominated in a 6-1 win against Tennessee State (0-3, 0-0 OVC) on Friday at the Greg Adams Tennis Center.

Emmeline Polevoi and
Sasha Parkhomenko dominated from the No. 2 court in doubles, 6-0.
Marilou Cote and
Izem Elif Olcer also dominated in their doubles match from the No. 3 spot, 6-0, as the Colonels took a one-point advantage.
In singles play,
Masha Fedenko dominated from the top court to win in straight sets, 6-2, 6-0.
Parkhomenko earned a straight-set victory in singles from the No. 2 position, 6-2, 6-4.
Polevoi earned a team-high fourth singles victory of the season, winning in straight sets from the No. 5 spot, 6-1, 6-2.
Olcer won her second straight singles match from the No. 6 position in straight sets, 6-3, 6-3.
