MADISON, Wisc. - The Eastern Kentucky men's cross country team finished out the 2024 season on Saturday afternoon at the NCAA Cross Country Championships.
The Colonel men finished 29th with a total of 698 points. BYU claimed the team title at 124 points, sweeping both the men's and women's titles. Iowa State and Arkansas rounded out the podium at 137 and 202 points, respectively.
Taha Er Raouy was the first Colonel across the finish line, clocking a time of 29:57.4 to finish 106th.
Mohammed Jouhari followed shortly after in 151st with a time of 30:15.0
Tomas Vega and
Mario Priego Montero were next to clock their times for the Colonels. Vega finished in 162nd-place with a time of 30:21.6 and Priego was 197th at 30:45.7.
German Vega crossed with a time of 31:17.0 in 230th.
Cesc Boix rounded out the Colonels'Â in 252nd with a time of 32:49.3.
Justine Kipkoech did not finish the race.
