RICHMOND, Ky. – The Eastern Kentucky University men's and women's cross-country teams begin the 2025 season tomorrow hosting the EKU Invitational at The University Club at Arlington.
At the season opener, the Colonels will host a group of competitors from across the commonwealth Morehead State and Northern Kentucky.
The women's 4K race is scheduled to begin at 8:15 a.m. with the men's 6K running at 8:45 a.m.
Hitting the course for the Colonels on the women side will be
Khadija Ennasri, Bryce Alan Thornsberry,
Clara Barbosa,
Morgan Kobylinski, and
Isabelle Shearer.
On the men's side EKU will be represented by
Tomas Vega,
German Vega,
Cesc Boix,
Griffin Staude,
James Ndayishimiye, and
Ty Blair.
The men enter the 2025 season looking for their fourth straight ASUN Conference title being picked as preseason favorites in the ASUN Preseason Coaches Poll while the women were picked second behind Lipscomb.
