RICHMOND, Ky. – The Eastern Kentucky University women's tennis team (6-7, 0-0 ASUN) drops the final two matches of the home stand to Dayton (3-4, 0-0 A-10), 4-3, and Xavier by a score of 5-0 on Friday at the Greg Adams Tennis Center.
 
To begin the dual match against Dayton, the Flyers won their doubles matches from the No. 1 and 3 courts to take a one-point advantage.
 
Marilou Cote dominated to win her singles match from the No. 3 spot in straight sets, 6-2, 6-2.
 
Masha Fedenko earned her seventh singles win of the season in three sets from the No. 1 position, 6-4, 5-7, 6-1.
 
Emmeline Polevoi earned a straight-set victory in singles from the No. 5 court, 6-3, 6-1.
 
Dayton won the other three singles contests to clinch the match.
 
To start the dual match against Xavier, the Musketeers won from the top two courts to claim the doubles point.
 
Xavier won four singles contests to clinch the match.
