RICHMOND, Ky. – The Eastern Kentucky university women's golf team will begin its 2024 Spring schedule at the three-day Columbia Classic at the Duran Golf Club in Melbourne, Fla on Saturday.
Competing for the Colonels will be
Mary Keene Marrs,
Mattie Jo Neeley,
Claira Beth Ramsey,
Elisa Orduna Shackleton, and
Dili Sitanonth.

As a team, the Colonels look to build on their four top-10 finishes from their Fall season.
Of those competing, Neeley holds the lowest carded round of the season after shooting a 68 at the Nittany Lion Invitational last Fall, while Shackleton having the best stroke average at 76.56 through 12 rounds.
The tournament will be hosted by Columbia University and feature a 16-team field of, Albany (NY), Cal State Fullerton, Columbia, Dartmouth, EKU, Emory, James Madison, Kennesaw State, Old Dominion, Penn State, Princeton, University of Richmond, Seton Hall, St. John's, Yale, and Youngstown State.
The Duran Golf Club course will play as a par-72 course at 6,303 yards throughout the 54-hole event. Rounds one and two will see competitors tee off from either hole, #1 or #10 with the final round on Sunday having a shotgun start.
