JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Eastern Kentucky University tied the game with two runs in the fourth inning, but North Florida scored five runs in the second half of the game to earn a 7-2 win on Saturday and even the Atlantic Sun Conference baseball series.

Miguel Larreal scored EKU's first run on a balk.Â
Ron Franklin Jr. followed with a sacrifice fly to tie the game 2-2.

The Osprey built a cushion with four runs in the sixth inning. The first run came home on a bases loaded ground out. The final three runs of the inning scored with two outs, including one on a passed ball and one on an error.

Conner Davis accounted for four of the Colonels' (9-22, 6-5 ASUN) five hits, both finishing 2-for-4. Jakob Runnels went 2-for-3 with two runs and an RBI for North Florida (15-13, 5-6 ASUN).
