Evan Dempsey hit a 2-run home run with two outs in the bottom of the first for the Eagles (25-24, 17-10 ASUN). Charles Davalan's leadoff homer in the third made it a 3-0 FGCU lead.

Isaac Milburn pitched 1 2/3 innings of scoreless relief, striking out three of the six batters he faced.
