DELAND, Fla. – Eastern Kentucky University lost 6-2 to Jacksonville in the Atlantic Sun Conference Tournament on Tuesday in DeLand, Florida.
The Colonels will play in the first Pool B bracket elimination game on Wednesday at 7 p.m. against the loser of Wednesday's game between No. 6 Central Arkansas and No. 7 seed Lipscomb. The game will be played at Stetson University's Melching Field at Conrad Park and air live on ESPN+.

Conner Davis followed
Miguel Larreal's 1-out double with a run scoring single up the middle.
The Dolphins (26-29) got on the board in the bottom of the third. After a 1-out single, back-to-back walks loaded the bases for Jacksonville. Chandler Howard's double to right center brought home two runs. Clayton Hodges followed with a sacrifice fly to make it 3-1.
Ron Franklin Jr. scored on a fielder's choice in the top of the fourth to close the gap to one, 3-2.
JU pulled away with three runs in the fifth. Howard drove in two more runs, this time with a single to right center. Tyrell Brewer stole home later in the inning to make it 6-2.
Larreal finished 2-for-5 with a run scored. Howard had a 2-for-4 game with four RBIs for the Dolphins.
EKU's pitchers allowed just four hits, including just one over the final four innings.
