Full EKU Conference Schedule
ATLANTA, Ga. – Eastern Kentucky University's volleyball team will play 16 Atlantic Sun Conference matches during the 2024 season, the league announced recently with the release of the full conference schedule.

The Colonels will play eight matches at home and eight on the road. EKU will face five teams twice – Austin Peay, Bellarmine, Central Arkansas, Lipscomb and North Alabama. The Colonels will play six teams once – Florida Gulf Coast, Stetson, Jacksonville, North Florida, Queens and West Georgia.

All home matches will be held in the Olympic Sports Training Center during the 2024 season while Baptist Health Arena undergoes renovation.

The conference schedule begins with home matches on Sept. 27 and Sept. 28 against Lipscomb and Austin Peay. The first road trip is a week later at North Alabama (Oct. 4) and Central Arkansas (Oct. 6). The first of two matches against in-state rival Bellarmine will be on Oct. 9 in Louisville. EKU will host Florida Gulf Coast on Oct. 12. The first half of the ASUN schedule concludes at Queens (Oct. 18) and at newcomer West Georgia (Oct. 20).

The Colonels will host Jacksonville on Oct. 25 and North Florida on Oct. 27. Those matches are followed by a trip to Tennessee to face Austin Peay (Nov. 1) and Lipscomb (Nov. 2). Bellarmine comes to Richmond on Nov. 5. EKU will make a trip to Florida to face Stetson on Nov. 9. The regular season concludes at home against Central Arkansas (Nov. 15) and North Alabama (Nov. 16).

The 2024 ASUN Conference Tournament will be held Nov. 21-23.

Last fall, EKU went 21-9 and earned a spot in the 2023 National Invitational Volleyball Championship. Head coach
Johnna Bazzani was chosen as the Atlantic Sun Conference Coach of the Year after the team finished third in the league with an 11-5 record. She led the Colonels to a 13-match winning streak which tied for the longest in program history.
