RICHMOND, Ky. – The Eastern Kentucky University women's golf team is headed west this weekend for the Cardinal Cup hosted by Louisville in Simpsonville, Ky. beginning on Friday, Sept. 14.
 
The three-day, 54-hole tournament will be held at the University of Louisville Golf Course, as it will play as a par 72, 6,374-yard course for the tournament.
 
EKU will be facing 14 other Division I programs including the host Cardinals, Bellarmine, Cincinnati, Coastal Carolina, East Carolina, Evansville, James Madison, Lipscomb, Marshall, Mercer, Middle Tennessee State, Rutgers, Toledo, and Western Kentucky.
 
Competing for the Colonels will be 
Claira Beth Ramsey, 
Dili Sitanonth, 
Imogen Jessen, 
Mary Keene Marrs, and 
Karra Tucker, with 
Elizabeth Tucci competing as an individual.
 
Ramsey will look to replicate her second-round performance from the Bettie Lou Evans Invitational earlier this week as she shot a career best, 70 (-2) with five birdies on the day.
