MOUNT PLESANT, Mich. – EKU wrapped up the Chippewa Invitational with a 3-0 win over Southeast Missouri on Saturday at Central Michigan.
The Colonels (6-3) won by scores of 25-18, 25-20 and 25-23.

Emilee Hill were selected to the Chippewa Invitational All-Tournament Team.
Mitchell led all players with 12 kills.
Carson Ledford finished with nine kills, no errors, a .600 attack percentage and three blocks.
The Colonels scored the first three points of the first set and led the entire way. A kill from
Madi Tolzman capped a 7-1 run to start the match.
Emma Closurdo made it 12-4 with a kill. One of seven kills in the first set from Mitchell pushed the lead to nine, 15-6. Consecutive kills from Tolzman and
Paige Wagers made it a double figure lead, 21-10. Mitchell's kill ended the set, 25-18.
The second set was close throughout, with neither team leading by more than three points. SEMO's Ramiri Gardner tied it at 20-20 with a kill, but EKU answered. Setter
Emilee Hill recorded a kill and then served up an ace for a 22-20 lead. A Redhawk attack error followed by a kill from Mitchell stretched it to a 4-0 run. Another kill from Mitchell capped off a run of five straight to end the set, 25-20, and give the Colonels a 2-0 lead.
Southeast Missouri (3-6) scored the first three points of the third set and led most of the set. The Redhawks went in front 20-17 after an EKU attack error. However, the Colonels swung the momentum in their direction with a 4-0 run. SEMO made a service error and two attack errors, and Hill served up an ace during the run. Southeast rebounded and took a 22-21 advantage on a kill from Marin Johnson. Ledford tied it with a kill before back-to-back kills from Mitchell gave the Colonels match-point at 24-22. Moments later, Ledford finished it off, 25-23, with another kill.
Hill provided four kills, four aces, 21 assists and 11 digs in the winning effort. Wagers gave EKU five blocks and four kills. The Colonels out-blocked SEMO 8-2.
Lucy Arndt and Abby Johnson led Southeast Missouri with 10 kills each.
The Colonels will play at Marshall on Tuesday at 6 p.m. The match will air live on ESPN+.
