CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Following a 5-set loss in its first conference home match of the season, the Eastern Kentucky University volleyball team will travel to Tennessee for a pair of road matches this weekend.

EKU will play at Austin Peay in Clarksville on Friday and in Nashville against Lipscomb on Saturday. Both matches will begin at 7 p.m. ET and air live on ESPN+.

THE COLONELS
- The Colonels split their first two Atlantic Sun Conference matches of the season, winning 3-1 at Bellarmine before falling 3-2 at home to Florida Gulf Coast last weekend. EKU is 9-5 overall this season.

Emilee Hill had a career-high 17 kills against FGCU. She made only three errors in 32 attempts and posted a .438 attack percentage. She also led the team with 29 assists and 21 digs.

Addison Burke is sixth in the conference with 3.13 kills per set, seventh with 3.63 points per set and eighth with 0.34 aces per set.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENTS
- Austin Peay is 2-12 overall and 0-2 in ASUN matches. The Lady Govs opened the league schedule with a pair of shutout losses at North Alabama and Central Arkansas. Â

- Taly Cloyd, a sophomore transfer from Louisiana-Monroe, leads APSU with 2.35 kills per set. Reagan Anderson is contributing 4.06 digs per set. The Lady Govs rank 12th in the ASUN with 10.21 kills per set.Â

- Lipscomb sits at 4-8 overall and 0-2 in conference matches. The Bisons have three losses to top-15 ranked teams – No. 1 Nebraska, No. 7 Kentucky and No. 14 Minnesota. Lipscomb was shutout in two road matches over the weekend at Central Arkansas and at North Alabama.
