JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Eastern Kentucky University freshman goalkeeper
Jordan LeVasseur has been named the Atlantic Sun Conference Goalkeeper of the Week after posting two shutouts and 17 saves last week in a four-point stretch against Austin Peay and Lipscomb.
Monday's honor marks LeVasseur's third ASUN Goalkeeper of the Week award this season. She is the only goalkeeper in the conference to earn the recognition three times in 2025.
LeVasseur opened the week with five saves in a shutout draw against longtime rival Austin Peay on Thursday. She followed with 12 saves in Sunday's shutout victory over ASUN Gold Division and current No. 2 seed Lipscomb, facing 24 total shots.
EKU and LeVasseur were one of two teams and goalkeepers to record a win over the Bisons during conference play. Her 12 saves marked her fourth game this season with double-digit totals.
The Pinckney, Michigan, native closed the 2025 regular season with an 8-2-5 record, 103 saves, six shutouts, a 0.82 goals-against average, and an 89.6 save percentage. Her 103 saves rank sixth-most in a single season in program history.
Entering the conference tournament this week, LeVasseur ranks among the top 10 nationally in save percentage (3rd), saves per game (5th), and total saves (8th). She is either first or second in the ASUN in each category.
EKU will travel to Fort Myers, Florida, to prepare for the 2025 ASUN Women's Soccer Championship. The Colonels face No. 3 seed North Florida in the quarterfinals on Thursday, Oct. 30, at 3 p.m. ET.
The match will be streamed live on ESPN+, fans making the trip should be on the look for ticket information released in the coming days.
