FORT MYERS, Fla. – The Eastern Kentucky University women's soccer team fell to North Florida, 1-0, in the quarterfinals of the 2025 Atlantic Sun Conference Tournament on Thursday afternoon at Pickering Field on the campus of Florida Gulf Coast University.
 
Freshman goalkeeper 
Jordan LeVasseur recorded 12 saves in the loss, marking her fifth double-digit performance of the season.
 
LeVasseur concluded the regular season and conference tournament with an 8-3-5 record in goal, totaling 115 saves, a 0.82 goals-against average, and an 89.8 percent save rate. Her values rank among the top 10 nationally in NCAA Division I women's soccer.
 
EKU (10-4-5, 5-2-3 ASUN) closes its tournament hopes with 10 or more wins for the second consecutive year under seventh-year head coach 
Matt Cosinuke. The Colonels have qualified for the ASUN Tournament in each of their five seasons as members of the conference.
 
The Colonels tallied 12 shots in the match, including seven on goal. 
Rachel Robinson, a junior midfielder, led EKU with three shots, while 
Ana Manning, a sophomore forward, added two.
 
EKU was nearly even in shot attempts between halves, registering seven in the first and five in the second. Despite testing the Ospreys' goalkeeper four times in the opening 45 minutes, the Colonels were unable to break through.
 
North Florida (8-8-4, 5-3-2 ASUN) scored the game's only goal in the 85th minute when Allie Fekany headed in the match-winner. The Ospreys outshot EKU 23-12 overall, including an 13-7 edge in shots on goal, and held a 8-4 advantage in corner kicks.
 
UNF's Isabella Pontieri paced all players with 11 total shots and five on target. Her second-highest totals of the 2025 season.
 
North Florida advances to Sunday's ASUN semifinals and will face the winner of No. 1 seed FGCU and No. 4 seed Bellarmine tonight in Fort Myers. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET on Sunday at Pickering Field.
