FORT MYERS, Fla. – The Eastern Kentucky University women's soccer team enters the 2025 Atlantic Sun Conference Women's Soccer Championship as the No. 2 seed and will face No. 3 seed North Florida on Thursday afternoon at Pickering Field on the campus of Florida Gulf Coast University.

EKU (10-3-5, 5-2-3 ASUN) closed the regular season with a 1-0 win over top-seeded Lipscomb last Sunday, marking the program's second straight year with double-digit victories.
Freshman forward
Rachel Phifer scored the game-winning goal, her second of the season, while freshman goalkeeper
Jordan LeVasseur posted 12 saves for her fourth double-digit save performance of the year.
Offensively, the Colonels are led by sophomore forward
Ella Grode, who has six goals and four assists. The Avon Lake, Ohio, native will look to score her first goal since September 14.
Junior
Chiara Premoli anchors the attack with eight assists, the second-most in the ASUN and 27th nationally. Premoli is EKU's all-time leader in career assists and set the single-season program record this fall.
In goal, LeVasseur has capped an impressive freshman campaign with 103 saves, six shutouts, a 0.82 goals-against average and an 89.6 save percentage. She ranks among the top 10 nationally in save percentage, saves per game and total saves.
With a win Thursday, EKU would advance to Sunday's semifinal at 1 p.m. ET against the winner of No. 1 FGCU and No. 4 Bellarmine, marking the Colonels' fourth semifinal appearance in five seasons in the ASUN.
Scouting North Florida
North Florida (7-8-4, 5-3-2 ASUN) earned points in its final four regular season matches, with wins over Stetson (1-0) and Queens (2-1) and draws against Jacksonville (3-3) and West Georgia (1-1).
Redshirt junior Isabelle Pontieri, a Virginia Tech transfer, leads the Ospreys with eight goals and nine assists. She has scored in three of her last four matches and leads UNF in shots (85) and shots on goal (37).
Series History
The teams last met in the 2024 ASUN Championship, when EKU earned a 1-0 win on North Florida's home field. The Colonels scored in the 23rd minute and held on for the shutout despite being outshot 18-3.
