Addison Burke was chosen as the Atlantic Sun Conference Freshman of the Week on Monday.

It is the second time this season Burke has earned the honor.

In two wins this past week, Burke averaged 4.00 kills, 2.88 digs and 0.13 blocks. She hit .394 in 71 attempts, making only four errors.

The Fort Mill, South Carolina native was third in the ASUN last week in kills per set and sixth in points per set (4.19).

Burke had a match-high 22 kills, 14 digs and one ace with a .526 attack percentage versus North Alabama, helping the Colonels overcome a 2-0 deficit for a 3-2 win. She totaled 10 kills and nine digs in a sweep of Central Arkansas

For the season, Burke ranks sixth in the ASUN in kills (3.21/set), fourth in aces (0.39/set) and fourth in points (3.77/set).Â

EKU will play five of its final six regular season matches at home, starting Friday against Lipscomb at 6 p.m. ET. "Spike or Treat" is scheduled for the match on Friday. Those who come in a costume will receive a ticket for $1. There will also be mini trick-or-treat stations set up.
