EKU Softball Adds Seven Players For 2027 Season

RICHMOND, Ky. – Eastern Kentucky University softball added seven players during the fall signing period to its 2026 class, head coach Jane Worthington announced Wednesday afternoon.

Kenna Streeval -  Utility
Streeval is from Edinburgh, Indiana, and plays at Edinburgh Community High School. The utility player was named the Mid-Hoosier Conference Most Outstanding Player. In the 2025 season, Streeval batted .700, adding 47 runs, 12 doubles, eight triples, and 10 home runs for the Lancers. She is a multi-sport athlete, lettering in volleyball, basketball, and track and field.

Sayuri Toledo - Pitcher
Toledo is a pitcher from Cathedral City High School in Cathedral City, California. She earned All-CIF honors in both 2024 and 2025. As a junior, she posted a .562 batting average with five home runs, five triples, 12 doubles, and 36 RBIs. Toledo helped lead Cathedral City to its first-ever postseason appearance in 2024 and guided the team to its first championship game appearance in 2025. In the 2025 semifinal, she struck out 17 batters without allowing a run.

Hayliee Roberts - Pitcher
Roberts is a pitcher from Central Crossing High School in Grove City, Ohio. She earned First Team OCC and First Team All-District honors while also receiving the All-Ohio Academic Award. Roberts closed her junior season with 203 strikeouts in 153.1 innings pitched, helping lead the Comets to the district finals.

Hannah Wiley - Infielder
Wiley joins the Colonels from Peaster High School in Peaster, Texas. She was named District 8-3A Defensive MVP after helping lead Peaster to a district championship as a junior and earned TSWA Class 3A All-State honors in 2025. As a sophomore, she received Second Team All-District recognition and also competed in varsity track. Wiley maintains a 4.7 weighted GPA and ranks first in her class.

Abby Wiley - Outfielder
Wiley joins the Colonels from Peaster High School in Peaster, Texas, alongside her twin sister, Hannah. In her sophomore season, she posted a .667 batting average and was named District 8-3A Defensive Player of the Year. Wiley earned TSWA Class 3A All-State honors in 2025. She helped lead Peaster to a district championship and also competed in varsity track. Wiley maintains a 4.7 GPA and ranks third in her class.

Teagan Fetcho - Outfielder
Fetcho joins EKU from Lebanon High School in Lebanon, Tennessee. The outfielder earned All-District 7-4A honors during her junior season after posting a .424 batting average and a .464 on-base percentage. Fetcho tallied 42 hits, along with 37 runs, 27 stolen bases, and 26 RBIs.

Brynnen Williams - Infielder
Williams joins EKU from James Wood High School in Winchester, Virginia. As a junior, Williams finished with a .524 batting average and a .571 on-base percentage, totaling 32 runs and 29 RBIs. The infielder was a First Team All-Region 4D and All-Northwestern District selection.
 

EKU is coming off a 38-16 season, earning an ASUN Championship game appearance.
