JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Eastern Kentucky University finished in a 3-way tie for second place in the Atlantic Sun Conference and will play as the No. 3 seed against Queens University of Charlotte on Thursday in the league volleyball tournament.
The Colonels and Royals will play at 1 p.m. ET at Alico Arena in Fort Myers, Florida. The match will air live on ESPN+.
EKU posted a 12-4 ASUN record and tied with Jacksonville and Central Arkansas for second in the conference standings. Florida Gulf Coast went 13-3, won the regular season championship and earned the No. 1 seed. Jacksonville is the No. 2 seed.
UCA is the No. 4 seed. Lipscomb (10-6) is the No. 5 seed. Queens had a 9-7 conference mark and is the No. 6 seed. North Alabama (8-8) and North Florida (7-9) round out the tournament field as the No. 7 and No. 8 seeds.
The winner of the EKU/Queens match will face the winner of the Jacksonville/North Alabama match in the semifinals on Friday at 4 p.m. ET. The championship match is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET on Sunday. All tournament matches will air live on ESPN+.
The Colonels finished the 2025 regular season with a 20-8 overall record, their third straight season of winning 20 or more matches. It marks the first time since 2003, 2004 and 2005 that EKU has won 20 matches in three straight seasons.
