EKU Announces Promotions For Women's Basketball Season

Single Game Tickets Available for Purchase

RICHMOND, Ky. – Eastern Kentucky University Athletics has announced the EKU women's basketball home promotional schedule for the 2025-26 season.
 
Single game tickets are now available online here.
 
The promotional slate begins Nov. 12 when the Colonels return to Baptist Health Arena to face Evansville. The night's theme is Light Up the Coliseum, and the first 250 fans will receive a light-up baton.
 
On Nov. 16, EKU will host Hometown Heroes Night against North Dakota. All first responders and health care workers will receive free admission with an employee badge. A tug-of-war competition will take place at halftime.
 
On Nov. 22, the Colonels will face Midway College for Fansgiving Day / SAAC Food Drive. Fans who bring nonperishable food donations will be entered to win a television courtesy of EKU Athletics Marketing.
 
EKU closes the month on Nov. 29 against Army West Point with the annual Holiday Music Bash. Fans can enjoy themed music throughout the evening and will have a chance to win a Bluetooth speaker.
 
Three promotions follow during the holiday stretch:

• Happy Holidays vs. Hampton on Dec. 29, featuring a women's basketball scarf giveaway.

• Ring in the New Year with the Colonels vs. West Georgia on Jan. 1..

• Family 4-Pack Ticket Deal vs. Queens on Jan. 3
 
On Jan. 15, EKU will host Battle of the Bands against Lipscomb. Two local high school bands will compete throughout the game, with additional details to be announced.
 
The Colonels will host a Sip and Paint Night on Jan. 22 vs. Jacksonville, featuring painting stations, a wine glass giveaway, and wine stations on the concourse.
 
On Jan. 24, EKU encourages fans to pack the arena in maroon for a Maroon Out against North Florida. Free T-shirts will be available while supplies last.
 
Feb. 7 will be a full day of events when the Colonels host Austin Peay for Youth Sports Day, Kids Day Bash and National Girls & Women in Sports Day. Activities begin at 11 a.m. ET with a youth clinic at the Rec Center, followed by a noon kids bash inside the Baptist Health Arena premium club and postgame autographs.
 
The February schedule wraps up with Postgame Student Bingo / Residence Hall Night on Feb. 12 vs. Central Arkansas, including 10 bingo prizes and a pizza party for the most-represented hall.
 
Senior Day is scheduled for Feb. 14 vs. North Alabama. The annual Play4Kay Game is set for Feb. 27 vs. Bellarmine. Local breast cancer survivors are encouraged to contact EKU Athletics Marketing to participate in a recognition.
