The team has played in the Olympic Sports Training Center the past two seasons during the renovation of Baptist Health Arena.

EKU remains in a tie for first place in the Atlantic Sun Conference standings with Jacksonville.

The Colonels (19-7, 11-3 ASUN) beat the Hatters by scores of 25-14, 25-22 and 25-19.

After Stetson drew to within one, 13-12, on a service error in the first set, the Colonels got on a roll.  EKU scored seven of the next eight and ended the set on a 12-2 run.  A kill from Emilee Hill made it 20-13.  A kill from Amanda Mack and an attack error from the Hatters ended the opening set.

The Colonels got off to a fast start in the second set and went in front 15-6 on kills from Hill and Mack, and a Stetson attack error.  However, the Hatters rallied.  A 14-4 run by the home team, capped by an ace from Vitoria Stedile, put Stetson in front 20-19.  With the scored tied 22-22, AG Hynes recorded a kill to begin a 3-0 run to end the set.  An attack error gave the visitors set-point.  Hynes came back and ended it with another kill.

The Hatters (9-16, 5-8 ASUN) went in front 9-8 in the third set on a kill from Lilyanna Parker.  From that point, EKU won nine of the next 10.  Burke's kill put the Colonels ahead for good, 10-9.  Another kill from Burke and a Stetson attack error capped the run and handed EKU a 7-point lead, 17-10.  The Hatters never got closer than two the rest of the way.  A service error ended the set, and the match.

Hill finished with a match-best 14 kills to go along with 20 assists and five digs.  She made only four errors in 24 attempts for a .417 attack percentage.  Hynes had 10 kills and no errors in 15 attempts for a .667 hitting percentage.  Burke added 12 kills and 10 digs while hitting .417.
