RICHMOND, Ky. – As spring camp continues for the Eastern Kentucky University football team so does the work for the Colonels offensive line.
EKU will look to replace three key members from last year's team that made it back to the FCS Playoffs for the 23
rd time in program history in
Payton Collins,
Vincent Munlin Jr., and
John Stone.
"Right now we are a young group up front," said offensive line coach
Eric Ravellette. "The good thing is that we are seeing improvement every day. With this spring we got a lot of guys who are hungry and fighting for spots as we look to see who can fill the shoes of the guys who graduated."
Offensively in 2024, the Colonels earned 4,522 yards of total offense and 38 touchdowns as the offensive line paved the way for a powerful running game that rushed for 2,709 yards and 22 touchdowns.
#50 Liam Coppinger | Redshirt Senior | Everson, Wash.
A transfer from the College of Idaho in 2024, Coppinger played in 10 games making eight starts.
#52 Brandon McGraw | Graduate Student | Rising Sun, Ind.
Played in 11 of the Colonels' 13 games in his first year in Richmond after transferring from Wilmington College where he played two seasons.
#58 Isaiah Bunn | Redshirt Senior | Sunrise, Fla.
Played in seven games with five starts in 2024, his second season with the Colonels after transferring from Butler Community College.
#60 Anthony Johns | Redshirt Junior | Winchester, Ky.
A product of Lexington Christian Academy and a member of the team since 2022, Johns played in nine games in 2024.
#64 Samuel Eskridge | Junior | Kings Mountain, N.C.
A new addition in 2025, Eskridge transferred to EKU from Norfolk State this off-season after being a Preseason All-MEAC selection helping the Spartans produce 3,520 yards of offense and 33 touchdowns in 2024.
Was a Freshman All-American in 2023 after playing in eight games, starting six of those.
#65 Joe Schlarman | Redshirt Freshman | Lexington, Ky.
Did not play in 2024.
The son of the late Kentucky All-American and assistant coach John Schlarman, Joe helped Lexington Catholic record 4,610 yards of total offense his senior year of high school helping them reach the state title game.
#71 O'Brien Jackson | Redshirt Senior | Murfreesboro, Tenn.
Played in 12 games, making three starts in 2024 for EKU, the most in his career since joining the team in 2021 out of high school.
#72 Fred Hinton | Sophomore | Miami, Fla.
A three-star prospect by On3 and 247Sports out of IMG Academy, Hinton appeared in 11 games with one start against North Alabama in his first season in Richmond.
#76 Mason Sulla | Redshirt Sophomore | Lancaster, Ky.
Did not play in 2024.
#78 Jaylen Eberhardt | Redshirt Freshman | Cincinnati, Ohio
Did not play in his first year at EKU.
Signed with the Colonels out of high school after the 2023 season earning First Team All-Ohio honors, and being rated as a two-star prospect by 247Sports.
#79 Antonio Gaines | Redshirt Senior | Columbia, S.C.
Did not play in 2024, transferred from Charlotte in 2023.
