RICHMOND, Ky. - Eastern Kentucky University Athletics and SIDEARM Sports announced Thursday the launch of a new-look, official EKU Sports mobile app presented by Kentucky Air National Guard.
 
The app is free and available now on iOS and Android devices.
 
The new app features enhanced navigation and EKUSports.com site integration, allowing EKU fans to enjoy a personalized mobile experience.

In order to have continued access and all the latest features, current EKU Sports app users will need to update the app on their mobile devices. Fans are invited to update or download the app in the App Store or Google Play.

From serving as a hub for all gameday content – including ticketing and shopping for the latest Colonel gear - to convenient access to live audio game broadcasts, on-demand video, live stats, and social media feeds, the EKU Sports app has it all.
 
The app also provides notifications for game updates, breaking news, ticket deals, and promotions from EKU corporate partners.
 
Big E Rewards through SIDEARM FanMaker will also be available for EKU students and fans.
 
Big E Rewards replaces the current Maroon Platoons Rewards, but now will be available for all fans, not just students. Through the app, fans can check in at games to earn points towards prizes and unique experiences.

The EKU app launched on the SIDEARM NextGen system, the latest iteration of SIDEARM Sports' award-winning software that promotes a superior fan experience through a fully native app that ensures users will not have to leave the app to access any content.
