INDIANAPOLIS – The Eastern Kentucky University women's soccer team is ranked No. 32 in the first NCAA Ratings Percentage Index (RPI) poll of the 2025 season, the highest official ranking in program history.
 
EKU (5-1-2) closed non-conference play with five wins and two draws, totaling 17 points to equal the most points recorded in non-conference play in school history.
 
The Colonels earned key victories over No. 106 East Tennessee State (2-0), No. 107 USC Upstate (2-1) and battled to draws against No. 104 Duquesne (2-2) and No. 126 Belmont (1-1).
 
EKU also faced No. 2 Tennessee on the road in the second match of the season when the Lady Vols were unranked.
 
During non-conference, the Colonels played the 31st-toughest schedule in the country ahead of power-4 programs like LSU, Clemson, Nebraska, Louisville, Colorado, Oklahoma, and much more.
 
EKU will open Atlantic Sun Conference play on Thursday in Nashville facing Lipscomb. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET and can be streamed live on ESPN+.
