THE WOODLANDS, Texas – Eastern Kentucky University's women's golf team will begin the spring portion of its 2025-26 schedule on Monday at the 2-day Texas Golf Throwdown hosted by Sam Houston State in The Woodlands, Texas.

The 14 teams will compete on the par-72, 6,311-yard course at The Woodlands Country Club.

The participating teams include:Â Austin Peay, Cincinnati, EKU, Iowa State, Middle Tennessee, Montana State, Murray State, Nebraska, Oral Roberts, Sam Houston, St. Thomas, Tarleton State, Texas State and Texas-Arlington.

Day one, which will include two rounds, will begin with a shotgun start at 9:30 a.m. ET. The final round on Tuesday will also begin at 9:30 a.m. ET.

The lineup will feature sophomore
Karra Tucker, senior
Lanie Campbell, sophomore
Imogen Jessen, senior
Mary Keene Marrs and sophomore
Maddi-Jo Benton.

The Colonels posted three top-10 finishes during the fall season, winning the Redbird Invitational, placing ninth at the Tot Hill Farm Invitational and finishing fourth at the French Broad Collegiate. As a team, EKU has a 302.23 stroke average.

Tucker leads the team with a 75.15 stroke average. Four of her 13 rounds this season have been at par or below. She placed first at the Redbird Invitational in September with a total of 3-under 213.Â

Campbell is second on the team with a 75.23 stroke average and Jessen (76.00) is third.
