NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Eastern Kentucky University baseball team fell behind 4-0 in the first inning as Lipscomb cruised to a 9-2 series clinching victory on Sunday in Nashville.

Damion Kenealy Jr. capped the first inning with a 2-run single to center field to put the home team ahead 4-0. Cam Pruitt's 2-out, 2-run single to right in the second pushed the margin to 6-0.

The Colonels (8-20, 3-6 ASUN) got on the board in the fifth when
David Alvarez drove in
Boone Shevey with a single to center field, making it a 7-1 game.

Jackson Reid hit a sacrifice fly in the sixth to close the gap to 7-2.

Pruitt had a 3-for-4 game with a run and four RBIs four Lipscomb (13-12, 6-3 ASUN). Brady Miller was 2-for-4 with three runs scored.
