RICHMOND, Ky. — The Eastern Kentucky University beach volleyball team heads down to the Sunshine State to compete in the Duuuval Duals from March 6 to March 7.
The Colonels are scheduled to play four matches over two days.
EKU will open tournament play against Mercer at 8 a.m. Friday.
Mercer enters the tournament with a 2-6 record. The Bears lead the series 2-0, most recently defeating EKU 3-2 in 2023.
Later Friday, the Colonels will face Jacksonville at 2 p.m.
The Dolphins enter the tournament 3-2 and are on a three-game winning streak, including a 3-2 win over Mercer.
Jacksonville defeated EKU 4-1 last season.
On Saturday, EKU will open play against Florida International at 8 a.m.
FIU enters the matchup 3-2 and is on a two-game winning streak.
To close out the weekend, EKU will play North Florida at noon.
North Florida is 5-3 this season and has defeated the Colonels each of the past three years.
Last season, the Ospreys finished 26-11 and secured their sixth ASUN championship title.
The Colonels enter the weekend 6-2 after going 2-2 last weekend at the Beach Bears Bash.
