Emilee Hill and
Cooper Abney as the Setter Pair of the Week.

The Colonels will play their first home match of the season on Tuesday against Marshall. T-shirts and posters will be given away. The match will begin at 6 p.m. and air live on ESPN+.

In three matches over the weekend at Western Kentucky's Alyssa Cavanaugh Classic, the duo combined for 9.59 assists, 4.17 digs, 2.50 kills, 0.67 blocks and 0.41 aces per set.

The field featured three teams that ended the 2025 season ranked in the NCAA RPI Top-50 – WKU (#30), Pepperdine (#44) and James Madison (#47). Eastern beat WKU (3-1) and JMU (3-2). Western played in the 2025 NCAA Tournament. This season Pepperdine beat RV Villanova (3-1), won a set against No. 10 Creighton (1-3) and beat Arizona (3-2). James Madison won a set against No. 19 North Carolina (1-3) this season. Western Kentucky beat Pepperdine & JMU before falling to the Colonels.

In the win over James Madison, Hill and Abney combined for 39 assists, 16 digs, eight kills, three blocks and two aces. Against Pepperdine the two combined for 39 assists, 15 digs, 15 kills, one block and one ace. In the win over Western Kentucky the two totaled 37 assists, 19 digs, seven kills, four blocks and two aces.

Individually, Hill averaged 5.42 assists, 2.50 kills, 2.42 digs, 0.67 blocks and 0.33 aces per set. Abney contributed 4.17 assists and 1.75 digs per set.
