JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The United Athletic Conference picked EKU's Emilee Hill as the Co-Player of the Week, and chose Hill and Cooper Abney as the Setter Pair of the Week.
 
Hill and Abney helped the Colonels go 4-0 last week, including three wins to capture the Geri Polvino Invitational championship over the weekend.
 
Hill averaged 3.57 points, 2.60 kills, 6.13 assists, 2.67 digs, 0.67 blocks and 0.60 aces per set with a .307 attack percentage for the week.  She earned GPI MVP & All-Tournament honors.  In the championship match against Appalachian State, the senior from Yorktown, Indiana posted a triple-double – finishing with a match-high 16 kills, 28 assists, 15 digs, 5 blocks and 1 ace
 
As a setter pair, Hill and Abney combined to average 10.33 assists, 3.80 digs, 2.60 kills, 0.73 aces and 0.67 blocks per set.  The duo totaled 33 assists in a 3-0 win over Marshall, had 30 assists in a 3-0 win over Presbyterian, totaled 44 assists in a 3-1 win over Tennessee Tech and had 48 assists in the 3-2 victory against Appalachian State.
 
Abney is a junior from Marietta, Georgia.
 
EKU will begin UAC play with a road trip to Arkansas this week.  The Colonels will play at Central Arkansas on Thursday at 7 p.m. ET and at Little Rock on Saturday at 1 p.m. ET.  Both matches will air live on ESPN+.
