Biography

2007 (Junior): One of only five Colonels to play in all 18 games…scored the game-winning goal against Tennessee Tech (10/26)…attempted 22 shots on the season.

2006 (Sophomore): Played in 16 games, making 12 starts…tallied an assist against Samford (9/29).

2005 (Freshman): Played in all 16 games, making 15 starts…took seven shots, five on goal.

ACADEMIC: A two-time Colonel Scholar…Dean’s List for four semesters…a member of the Delta Epsilon Iota and Chi Alpha Sigma honor societies.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played four years of varsity soccer…spent three years in starting line-up…named to district all-tournament team…received “Unsung Hero Award”…posted a career-best six goals and a team-high nine assists as a senior…team finished second in the Kentucky Cup Tournament…also played basketball for one year and ran track for one year.

PERSONAL: Born Oct. 13, 1986…daughter of Mike and Linnea Caldon and Debbie and Greg Small…One interesting fact about Laura: her twin sister, Sarah, scored the first goal in EKU women’s soccer history…major is Dietetics.
