2008 (Junior): A durable and dependable defender on a defense that recorded a program-record eight shutouts … appeared in 18 games and started all 18 of them … her 1,632 minutes played were third on the team … attempted five shots, all of which were on goal … recorded her first career assist at Tennessee Tech (10/3) … named OVC Defensive Player of the Week on October 7 after playing every minute of both matches that weekend, notching the assist at Tennessee Tech and then leading the Colonels to a resounding 3-0 shutout of Austin Peay two days later.

2007 (Sophomore): Played in 11 games and started four of them … attempted one shot on the season.

2006 (Freshman): Appeared in all 18 games, starting 13.

ACADEMIC: Three-time Colonel Scholar ... named to the OVC Commisioner's Honor Roll twice ... Dean's List for two semesters. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Earned four varsity letters … was named first team All-District her senior year, as well as being named a team captain ... named second team all-district as a junior … twice helped squad advance to district finals …played for the Manassas Spirit club team … also ran cross country for one year.

PERSONAL: Born Dec. 17, 1987 … daughter of Joseph Hollenberg and Kelly Akers  … major is Public Relations with a minor in journalism.
