2008 (Junior): Became one of the first soccer players in EKU history to receive first team All-OVC honors … anchored a Colonel defense that recorded a program-record eight shutouts … started all 19 games of the season in the Colonel backline … played an astounding 1,776 minutes, meaning she sat out a combined 20 minutes of play all season … attempted five shots during the season, two of which were on goal … scored her only goal of the season against the top ranked team in the conference, Murray State, on October 19 … named to the OVC All-Tournament team as the Colonel defense blanked UT Martin in the first round only to lose to the Skyhawks in a shootout.

2007 (Sophomore): Appeared in nine games, starting four of them … attempted eight shots on goal.

2006 (Freshman): Scored first career goal against Chattanooga (8/27) ... appeared in 11 games.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played three years of varsity soccer, earned two letters … named 2004-05 Rookie of the Year … honored to all-conference second team … received 2005-06 Pillar of Strength Award … tallied 12 goals and 24 assists throughout high school career … also played for the Cincinnati United Premier club team.

PERSONAL: Born Oct. 26, 1987 … daughter of Mike Shumaker and Ellen Humphrey … major is physical education.
