Two-time all-state selection at Sheldon Clark High School … led Sheldon Clark to the second round of the 2011 KHSAA Sweet Sixteen … averaged 23 points and seven rebounds per game as a senior while leading SCHS to a 25-9 record, a district championship and a region title … shot 47 percent from the field, 37 percent from three-point range and 80 percent from the free throw line … scored 21 points and grabbed eight rebounds against Boyd County in the first round of the Sweet Sixteen … scored 19 points and hauled in 10 boards in the team’s second round game against Calloway County … earned first team all-state honors from the Louisville Courier-Journal and selected second team all-state by the Lexington Herald-Leader and the Associated Press … was chosen as the 15th Region Player of the Year by the Kentucky Association of Basketball Coaches … as a junior in 2009-10, Booth averaged 19.9 points and 5.7 rebounds per game on her way to being selected second team all-state by the Lexington Herald-Leader and third team all-state by the Louisville Courier-Journal … shot 46 percent from the field and 79.1 percent from the free throw line … led Sheldon Clark to a 20-6 record and a 57th District championship her junior season … was chosen by WYMT as the 15th Region Player of the Year and selected to the WYMT All-Mountain team after the season … was also recognized as the 15th Region Player of the Year after her sophomore season during which she averaged 22 points per game … is also a two-time winner of the 57th District Player of the Year award … in 2008, 2009 and 2010 Booth was selected to the 15th Region All-Tournament team … in 2009 she garnered All “A” 15th Region MVP honors and a spot on the All “A” Classic all-tournament team … led Sheldon Clark to the All “A” semifinals that season at EKU’s McBrayer Arena … selected to play in the annual Kentucky/Indiana All-Star basketball series in the summer of 2011 … in two games against the all-stars from the Hoosier state, Booth averaged 11 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2.5 steals, 1.5 assists and 0.5 blocks … in Kentucky’s 64-57 victory over Indiana, Booth tied for the team lead with three assists, was second on the team with nine points and tied for third with six rebounds … she also had a steal and a block … scored seven of her nine points in the final 2 1/2 minutes to help the Kentucky squad secure the win … in game two at Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Booth led the Kentucky team with 13 points … also contributed four steals and a rebound … scored five consecutive points midway through the second half to close the Indiana lead to nine, 52-43, but that is as close as Kentucky would get in a 69-56 loss.
