Biography
Player Profile – Rodriguez will once again be in the hunt for a starting spot in the rotation this spring … she can control a match with her strong forehand.
2012-13 (Sophomore) – Won 10 of her 12 singles dual matches, mostly at the No. 6 position … did not drop a set in six OVC contests … saw limited time at No. 3 doubles … advanced to the finals of the Flight C bracket of the Austin Peay Fall Invitational.
2011-12 (Freshman) – Advanced to a pair of finals in two fall tournaments while winning the Singles G bracket at the Kentucky Invitational … she defeated Kansas’ Amy Barnthouse in a third-set tie-breaker to claim that title … split time at No. 6 singles with Marcela Jimenez … finished 5-0 in OVC singles matches … also saw time at No. 3 doubles with Amandine Faouzi.
Off the Court – In her free time, she enjoys shopping and going to the cinema … her tennis goals include helping the team win a third straight OVC title.
