2018 (Sophomore): Played in 17 games and started nine of them … came on strong late, appearing in the starting IX six times in EKU’s last seven games … went the distance in five of those six games, including the 110-minute, double OT win over SIUE in the OVC quarterfinals … helped the EKU backline record six shutouts on the year, four of which came during conference play … attempted four shots on the season, one of which was on frame.
2017 (Freshman): Appeared in 15 games on the backline for EKU, all off the bench … late in the game, sent a long ball ahead to Jordan Foster who scored the equalizer against Southeast Missouri in a 1-1 draw on September 24 … played a season-high 68 minutes in the win at IUPUI on August 27 … helped the Colonels rank third in the OVC in goals-against average (0.83) and shutouts (four) during conference play.
High School and/or Club Experience: defender from Auckland, New Zealand, where she was a three-year captain for the Epsom Girls Grammar School soccer team ... selected to the New Zealand Secondary Schools U-19 Girls Football Team, and toured Thailand with the team to play international games against university teams from Thailand and China ... also represented the Auckland Football Federation in the 2016 Women's National League ... at the club level, Philpot played for Three Kings United, with whom she went undefeated in 2016 and won the Northern Regional Football League.
Personal: Daughter of Rod Philpot and Deb Pearson ... plans to major in business and marketing.
