Led Knott Central to a third consecutive state tournament appearance as a senior in 2018-19 … helped KCHS to a 25-8 record … averaged 14.5 points, 5.8 rebounds and eight assists per game as a junior  … named 14th Region MVP and 53rd District MVP … named 14th Region Player of the Year and the 14th Region Most Valuable Player as a sophomore … became a member of the 1,000-point club as a sophomore and averaged eight assists per game … helped KCHS to the 53rd District Championship and a 14th Region Championship in 2016-17 … helped lead the team to a 53rd District Championship and a 22-8 record during her freshman campaign, averaging 10.2 points per game, with 4.9 rebounds and eight assists per game … was named to the 53rd District All-Tournament Team … averaged 10.2 points to go with seven assists per game as an eighth grader … named to the all-district team and the all-region team while helping lead her squad to a 23-8 as a starter.

Full name is Jada Ovena Tyree Higgins … daughter of Sandra Higgins … has three brothers – Corey, Jo’Cari and Malaki, and one sister – Talashia … her mother played collegiate basketball at Kentucky State University … her brother Jo’Cari ran track at Florida A&M … plans to study psychology.
