Antonia Peresson joined the Eastern Kentucky University women’s basketball program as the video coordinator in the summer of 2019. Peresson comes from Georgia Tech where she was a graduate assistant.
At Georgia Tech, Peresson assisted the coaching staff in international recruiting by providing international reports and providing weekly updates on international tournaments, international scouting reports and FIBA events. She also worked with the guards on improving their shooting fundamentals while offering analysis of opposing players’ tendencies.
Before becoming a graduate assistant at Georgia Tech, she played four years for the Yellow Jackets where she participated in the WNIT from 2015-1018. Peresson was named a team captain in her junior and senior seasons. She was named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll from 2015-2018.
She served at the team representative and spokesperson for the women’s basketball team. During her term as the spokesperson, she helped organize student-athlete involvement within the community through community service, promoted a positive student-athlete image and built a sense of community within the athletics program through communication of all athletics teams and administration.
The Pordenone, Italy native received her bachelor’s of science in business from Georgia Tech University in May 2018. She is pursuing her master’s in sport management with a concentration in coaching theory and strategy.
