Appeared in 26 games with six starts … averaged 1.9 points and 1.7 rebounds per game on the season … posted a career-best 11 points and eight rebounds in the win over Alice Lloyd (Nov. 27) … scored seven points and five rebounds in the road win against in-state rival Morehead State (Feb.2).
 
HIGH SCHOOL
Was on the varsity roster for six years at George Rogers Clark High School … as a freshman she averaged 8.5 points with 2.2 rebounds per game … averaged 8.9 points per game, with 5.6 rebounds per contest, as a sophomore … was a team captain, and named to the all-district team, district all-tournament team, the region all-tournament team her sophomore season … helped lead her team to a district championship and a region championship as a sophomore … averaged 7.5 points and 4.8 rebounds per game as a junior … served as a team captain again and helped GRC to a district championship and a region title … the Cardinals made their second consecutive Sweet 16 appearance before falling in the championship game … was named to the all-district team and the region all-tournament team … earned honorable mention all-state recognition during her junior campaign … contributed 9.0 points and 5.3 rebounds per game as a senior while helping GRC to a district and region championship … member of the National Honors Society.

Full name is Maleaha Rishaye Bell … daughter of Crystal Bell … has two brothers – Marquee and Marquess, and three sisters – Myia, Maranda and Myari … her cousin Yeramiah Bell played football at EKU and in the NFL … plans to study pre-physical therapy.
