EKU women's basketball head coach Greg Todd announced the hiring of Tanner Ball as the Assistant Director of Basketball Operations in September of 2022.
"Tanner brings us a great work ethic. His experience working with Colorado and Washington men's basketball programs will serve our program well." said Todd.
Ball joins Eastern Kentucky after spending the previous season as a graduate assistant with the University of Washington men's basketball program, where he assisted with student-athlete development, video coordination, and scouting opponents.
Prior to his one-year stint in Seattle, Tanner spent four years as a student-manager with Colorado men's basketball and assisted the program in recruiting efforts, travel, and equipment duties. Ball was a key member in facilitating travel efforts for the teams' PAC-12 and NCAA Tournament run in 2021.
Ball, a native of Tomball, Texas, graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2021 with a bachelor's degree in computer science, statistics minor. Recently, earning a master's in Intercollegiate Athletic Leadership from UW in 2022.
