HIGH SCHOOL: Led St. Vincent Pallotti to a conference championship game three out of four years, and won a conference championship as a senior, recording three straight 1-0 shutouts in the playoffs...a two-time MVP of her high school team (2006-07), a two-time first team all-conference selection (2006-07), and an all-state selection in 2007...plays goalkeeper for the Vista Hotshots club team, who were ranked seventh in the nation in 2007.

PERSONAL: Born Jan. 15, 1990...daughter of David and Lynn Carta...One interesting fact about Amanda: Former President Dwight D. Eisenhower onced lived in her hometown...major is undecided.
