Biography

2012 (Sophomore): Earned first team All-Ohio Valley Conference honors after solidifying herself as one of the top center backs in the league … started all 20 games and played all but two minutes on the year (most on the team), helping the Colonel backline record five shutouts and stifle opponents to just 1.17 goals per game … also got involved in the attack as she led EKU, ranked sixth in the conference and set a single season program record with four assists, all of which came off well-placed set piece balls … fired 12 shots on the year, seven of which were on goal.

2011 (Freshman): Became a regular on the Colonels’ unyielding backline, starting 16 games on the season and going the distance in 12 of them … finished the season fifth on the team with 1,394 minutes played … attempted three shots on the season, one of which was on target … played 70 minutes at center back in EKU’s Ohio Valley Conference Tournament game against UT Martin (Nov. 4).

2010 (Redshirt): Started two games on the backline at Robert Morris University before sitting out the rest of the season with a medical redshirt.

High School and/or Club Experience: Named second team all-state as a senior and to the Washington Post All-Met squad as a junior and senior ... helped lead Quince Orchard to a state championship in 2007 and regional championships in 2008 and 2009 ... also experienced great success at the club level, where she won a 2009 Maryland state championship with the Laurel Lightning and won back-to-back USL national championships while playing for the Washington Freedom in 2009 and 2010 ... a Super Y ODP National Pool player in 2008 and 2009.

Personal: Born Feb. 3, 1992 ... daughter of Sally and Michael D'Italia ... major is psychology.
