Faure is expected to fill one of the top spots in the Colonel line-up this spring … handles match pressure extremely well … a very mature player … likes to play a baseline game and is strong off both wings … split time between No. 4 and No. 5 singles in her two other years on the team … won all nine of her OVC singles matches last year in straight sets … picked up a straight-set win in the 2009 OVC championship match at No. 5 singles … finished 20-6 in singles dual matches last year … teamed up with Jemma Euers to go 14-6 in doubles in 2009 … went 12-6 at No. 4 singles as a freshman … went to three sets in 11 matches in 2008 … teamed with Vera Heimeroth for most of her freshman season at No. 3 doubles … climbed as high as No. 280 in the Switzerland national rankings … a two-time semifinalist in Geneva’s championships … in her spare time, she enjoys gymnastics, snowboarding, traveling and meeting new people … her tennis goals are to have the best Swiss ranking possible and win another OVC ring.
