Player Profile – Gerritsen is one of the better doubles players ion the Colonel roster … her serve and forehand are major weapons in her game.

2013-14 (Junior) – Injuries limited Gerritson’s playing time, especially in fall competition … went 6-1 against OVC competition, splitting time between No. 3 and No. 5 singles … won a key singles match in the 4-3 win over SIUE on March 15 … teamed up with Kristina Labeja to go 5-9 at No. 1 doubles in the spring.

2012-13 (Sophomore) – Piled up 21 doubles victories in the fall and spring, most on the team … settled with Kristina Labeja at No. 1 doubles in the spring and went 6-0 against OVC competition … split time between No. 4 and No. 5 singles … nearly pulled an upset at No. 58 Ohio State, but fell in a third set super tie-breaker in the No. 3 match … teamed up with Saioa Oscoz to win the Flight A doubles bracket at the Austin Peay Fall Invitational … also won the Flight B singles draw at the APSU Invite … earned a spot in the main draw of the ITA Fall Regionals thanks to winning two qualifying matches.

2011-12 (Freshman) – Advanced to the finals of two fall tournaments while winning the No. 5 bracket at the Ball State Invitational … split time between No. 3 and No. 4 singles … only dropped one OVC singles match … rolled off eight straight singles victories in the middle of the year … teamed up with Kristina Labeja to go 7-2 at No. 1 doubles versus OVC competition.

Off the Court – Earned her bachelor’s degree in communication studies this winter … reached as high as No. 65 in the Dutch national rankings … she enjoys reading and drawing in her spare time … used to take taekwondo lessons.
