RICHMOND, Ky. – Over the spring and summer (and now fall), we will be profiling members of the Eastern Kentucky soccer team. Next up: sophomore
Tara Claus.
Tara, a forward from Cincinnati, is a huge fan of rapper Machine Gun Kelly.
EKUSports: How did you become a Machine Gun Kelly fan?
Tara Claus: I started listening to his music when I was a freshman in high school; before he got big, back in 2010-2011. And I just really got into his music.
ES: So you've seen him live, right?
TC: Yeah, like 13 times.
ES: Which show was the best show?
TC: We caught him in Cleveland last December. He was playing back-to-back nights up there. I actually got my bandana at that show, pretty much everybody at the show had one. You can see it has "EST" on it, and that stands for "everybody stand together," which is a pretty cool way to look at being on a team.
ES: Do you use any of his tunes for your pump up music?
TC: We blast "'Till I Die" before every game, and he's pretty much the only rapper I listen to.
