Senior catcher A.J. Lewis began the week of March 9 ranked among the top-40 players in the nation in seven different categories.  The Chicago native was fourth in slugging (.915), fifth in batting average (.489), sixth in hits per game (1.92), eighth in doubles per game (0.58), 13th in on-base percentage (.571), 18th in runs batted in (21) and 39th in runs per game (1.25).

He was also selected to the Buster Posey National Collegiate Catcher of the Year watch list.
