Forbes was recently named the Ohio Valley Conference Female Track Athlete of the Week. In her first ever collegiate meet last Saturday, the Toronto native ran the fastest 400 meters time in the conference this year, recording a 56.68 against a loaded field at the University of Kentucky Invitational. Forbes’ time was also the fifth fastest indoor 400 meters time in EKU history. The indoor record is 55.61, set by Sheri Calhoun in 2003.
