Alexus Cooper scored a career-high 12 points to lead the EKU women's basketball team to its first OVC win of the season, a 57-54 road victory over Southeast Missouri on Jan. 10. Cooper knocked down 3-of-4 shots from behind the arc in the game.

The native of Rocky Mount, North Carolina is averaging 3.5 points-per-game and leads the team with nine blocks this season.
