The Eastern Kentucky men’s golf team is competing at the three-day Pinehurst Intercollegiate. Sunday’s first round was stopped due to darkness. The conclusion of the first round and the second round will be played on Monday. The final round is set for Tuesday. 

The 2009 Pinehurst Intercollegiate is being held at The Centennial Pinehurst No. 8.

Joining the Colonels in the field will be Ball State, Belmont, Marquette, Marshall, Miami (Ohio), Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota, N.C. Greensboro, N.C. Wilmington, Old Dominion, Penn State, Radford, Southern Mississippi, Toledo, VCU, Virginia Tech, Western Illinois and Wichita State.
