The Colonels (5-5, 4-2 OVC) have the chance to finish undefeated at Roy Kidd Stadium this year. A win over Austin Peay would make EKU a perfect 5-0 at home. The Colonels have posted 14 undefeated seasons at Roy Kidd Stadium since 1969, with the last coming in 2007.
EKU is currently riding a three-game winning streak thanks in large part to a resurgent offense. Eastern has averaged 39.7 points per game over the last three contests compared to 23.8 points over the first seven games in 2010.
Austin Peay (2-8, 1-6) has lost seven straight games since defeating Tennessee State on Sept. 18. The Govs rank third in the OVC in rushing offense (171.0) and piled up a season-high 371 yards last week against Murray State. Meanwhile, the Colonels allowed a season-high 281 yards rushing to Tennessee Tech one week ago.
The last two meetings between Eastern Kentucky and Austin Peay have been decided by a total of seven points, including an overtime game in 2008.
