RICHMOND, Ky. – Saturday is Kid’s Day in McBrayer Arena as the Eastern Kentucky University men’s basketball team hosts OVC foe Tennessee Tech at 7 p.m.
All kids 12-and-under will receive free admittance to the game, which is presented by AT&T.
EKU (7-8, 2-3 OVC) has a chance to move to the .500 mark overall and in OVC action with a win over the Golden Eagles. The Colonels have won five straight meetings over TTU while averaging 81.2 ppg in those victories.

Tennessee Tech (6-7, 2-2) has dropped two straight OVC games since opening the year 2-0 in the conference. The Golden Eagles currently rank second in the league in scoring (75.8 ppg) and field goal percentage (47.3 percent). Sophomore guard Jud Dillard paced the team with 20 points and nine boards in the 76-64 loss at Morehead State Thursday evening.
Following Saturday’s game, Eastern Kentucky is back on the road for four straight games beginning with Eastern Illinois on Jan. 13.

Joshua Jones tallied 21 points in the win over Jacksonville State on Thursday. Jones’ point total was the second most of his collegiate career, behind only his 25-point outburst in an 85-80 win over Tennessee Tech on Jan. 10, 2009.
