Tennis Teams Pick Up Victories Over TSU

RICHMOND, Ky. – The Eastern Kentucky University men’s and women’s tennis teams each rolled to 4-0 victories over visiting Tennessee State Sunday. The matches were played indoors at the Greg Adams Tennis Center due to inclement weather.

The EKU women (11-5, 4-0 OVC) have now won 16 consecutive regular season OVC matches dating back to 2011. Next up is the last conference team to beat the Colonels, Jacksonville State. The two teams will meet in Richmond on Friday, March 29 at 10 a.m.

On the men’s side, Eastern (8-11, 3-1) has rebounded to win three straight league matches since dropping the OVC opener at Austin Peay. Next up for the Colonels is a home match against Jacksonville State on Friday at 1 p.m.
